If I'm on public wifi, can people capture info I'm filling using 1Password?

I often work in Starbucks, using their wifi. I have heard a bit about the dangers of public wifi use, but is there any way for people to capture or intercept items I am filling in using 1Password?

Obviously, this would often be usernames and passwords, but what if I filled in an address and credit card info for a purchase? (And by "filled in" I mean using 1Password to fill it in.)

Thoughts?

Yes, you can't be sure stuff is sent securely.

Best to use a VPN (Virtual Private Network) program to encrypt all traffic. Cloak and Hotspot Shield are among the possibilities.

    OK, I'll look into that.
