1password does not repsect custome date format in date fields

I live in Belarus, but I use en_GB locale on my mac. But I customized a date format in locale preferences: in en_GB default date format is mm/dd/yy, but I changed it to the dd/mm/yy, which is common for Belarus/Russia. But unfortunately 1password does not respect system settings and forces me to enter dates in a mm/dd/yy format in date fields. Is it possible to implement it in future versions?

    Hi @uzzz,

If we're talking specifically about when you enter dates into a record then this is actually an OS X oddity. If you try editing a date in Calendar and Contacts, two of Apple's built-in applications you'll also find they don't respect your format changes either. It's something about the date field when you can bring up a mini calendar. Anywhere you see that you will probably find it won't respect your changes.

The format that particular field uses is based on whatever you have your Region set to in System Preferences > Language & Region and sadly ignores any customisations you make via the Advanced... window. Sorry it isn't better news but I hope that helps explain it.

    Hi @uzzz,

Glad I could help with the understanding even if we need Apple to tweak something to make it behave better
