OK, I was wondering what the feeling are regarding adding the Norton VIP Access App to the login mix? My bank will let me use the App. I have in the past but stopped because it was a PITA. Any feeling pro or con? Thanks

    Hi @Steve_H,

Can you help me out please, what do you mean when you say add the Norton VIP Access App? If you mean can we add support for their version of TOTP then it probably is unlikely given they're using their own variant of TOTP which as far as I can tell communicates with their servers. Certainly it doesn't behave like the TOTP used by Google, Dropbox etc. which is covered by RFC 6238. Now you may mean something else altogether so if I'm on the wrong tangent please do let me know.

OK, it is an App that USAA bank offers so that in addition to you user name and password, this App generates as time sensitive code (4 digits I believe ) that you insert after your normal password. Just another layer of security.

    Hi @Steve_H,

If the app is an iOS one called VIP Access then this thread is related, TOTP with Symantec VIP Access?. Unfortunately it is doubtful we will ever be compatible with their approach. They've designed their own system, a bit like Authy have their own approach. The similarity between the two is they both seem to require the site to communicate with their server. There is the possibility that they are willing to work with 3rd party developers to include support for their approach but it isn't an openly documented protocol as far as I can see.
