Hopefully that helps to clear up the confusion, but if you're having trouble removing items from regular (i.e. non-smart) folders in 1Password, please let us know. Thanks!

No, it's not a smart folder. I can't find any common denominator as to which items allow removal and which don't. Some cases involve the exact same website (URL), but different usernames - One works, while the other doesn't. Might it have any bearing as to how old the item is (i.e. which version of 1password)?

Hi @dfel,
I was investigating another query a couple of days ago and what I found was I had three items that somehow thought they were in a folder but weren't. Now I never figured out how this happened as I couldn't even say when it did but what I found was adding them to a folder and then removing them corrected this. Now you can't add that item to a folder as it's supposedly already in one but moving it to another folder should have the same effect.
So if you move it temporarily to another folder does the Remove from Folder become visible?
