I wonder if I can attach my files to 1password, like, If I store my SSN number in 1password, I wonder how I can attach some SSN forms to it for future reference.

Hello @Wenxin,

Yes, you can attach files to items in 1Password 5 for Mac.

If you also use 1Password 5 for iOS, you can view existing attachments but not add them.

If I delete original files, will 1password keep files? or just delete as well?

Hi @Wenxin,

When you add an attachment to an item in 1Password, it's a completely separate copy from the original. So, even if you delete the original file from your Mac, it won't be deleted from 1Password (in other words, there's no connection between the original and the attachment in 1Password).
