1password 5 (latest) crashing on launch on Yosemite 10.10.3
Help! I just installed the latest version (5.3?) on my older Mac Pro running the latest Yosemite and it crashes on launch every time. I can paste the whole crash dump, but this looks like it might be germane:
Crashed Thread: 0 Exception Type: EXC_BREAKPOINT (SIGTRAP) Exception Codes: 0x0000000000000002, 0x0000000000000000 Application Specific Information: dyld: launch, loading dependent libraries Dyld Error Message: Library not loaded: @loader_path/Frameworks/CrashReporter.framework/Versions/A/CrashReporter Referenced from: /Applications/1Password 5.app/Contents/Frameworks/HockeySDK.framework/Versions/A/HockeySDK Reason: image not found`
I'm in serious trouble without this app working. I hope someone has an answer.

Try trashing 1PW (just the app, don't use an app cleaner), emptying the trash, restarting and redownloading.

Wow, that worked. I had already re-downloaded and was trying to run the new copy from the Downloads folder, but I guess it uses resources from Applications whether you expect it to or not.

Hi @croald,
If the crash can be tracked back to 1Password mini then it is explainable. The way we have to register 1Password mini (for sandboxing reasons) means we can't control what copy is launched by OS X. It's a problem but unfortunately not one we have any control over. The only solution is to ensure there is a single copy of 1Password on your machine.
We're just happy to hear you have 1Password up and running properly again

Reinstalling worked for me, too. Thank you.

That's great to hear @scholvin
As this seems to be resolved for both of you I'm going to close this thread but if you have any questions or issues in the future don't hesitate to post!
