Full app won't open on Mac Desktop (version 5.3)

Sorry to hear 1Password is not launching for you. The first thing I'd suggest trying is to move 1Password 5.app (or 1Password.app as the case may be) to the trash (manually! please don't use any app cleaning utility), empty the trash, redownload and reinstall the app.
Note: if you originally bought 1Password from the Mac App Store, reinstall it from there, and if you bought the license from our AgileBits Store, then download from our Downloads page. Then for good measure, make sure the app is located in your /Applications folder rather than /Downloads before you launch it.

Thx for the fast answer. I moved the file to the trash and then back to the apps folder, and tried to open it (for grins). It totally worked. Go figure. thx again
