Password generator to remember previous recipe
The password generator should remember the recipe of the previous password. Presently the default recipe is the last used one which may be -and most of the time is- different than the suitable one for the actual site, the user has to manually reformulate the recipe. This would be a great feature for a so great software. Thanks.

It seems Password Generator in the main 1Password window and 1Password mini store their settings in different locations but for me anyway, both remember the settings from the last time used rather than some set of defaults. Now it might be I'm misunderstanding and you're actually requesting that each Login item remembers the specific recipe used for that Login item? If you can let us know that would be great :smile:

Exactly. Each login item should remember the specific recipe previously used for that item. Because the recipes differ among the login sites, but almost always remain constant for a specific site. When a site requires me to change a password (the banks ask for a password change periodically) the recipe I have to use is most probably different than the previous recipe I used when changing the password for another site. So the actual default returning the last used recipe is useless (for me at least). Thank you for your attention.

Thank you for clarifying that :smile: Now that I better understand and that we're on the same wavelength I'll add your voice to the existing request we have. It is something I know we'd love to see in some shape or form as a way to make it easier to generate passwords.
