Merging/Consolidation of Indvidual 1Password Records/Logins
I notice in the forum that this feature is yet to be added and is "under consideration". Can you please consider it again more urgently as I too, like many others I see here have many records that require consolidation/merging.
For one example; Google have consolidated to only one account whereas previously there was a login for each of Google's apps. Of course like most of us tech heads I have several Google accounts - just to be safe if one was to be slapped. ;) Each of these has many google apps associated with it. Currently it takes me around 20-30mins to consolidate each set manually.
As another user noted, if it worked like the Apple Contacts merge records where you select each record and then do a key combination and all data is merged to one record where you can then edit/delete the irrelevant information this would be ideal.
If it could work like Apple's too where the record on top becomes the dominant record for two similar fields and the secondary (bottom) record's field goes to the bottom of the merged data - not deleted. And furthermore if this feature could merge (by manual selection) up to 5 or 10 records at once this would make it super-awesome! Again the top record would be the master - so to speak.
You have the duplicate function which is extremely handy and time saving. This function would be just as handy and time saving.

PS - 1Password 5 is one of my most used apps on all of my mac machines and devices. I recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone and everyone and always set it up on any new installs I do. Thank you for an awesome and one of the most reliable apps for mac. I cannot work without it now.

I'm not a developer but I wonder if we could leverage the existing sync code for this. After all, we have code that compares and merges two items when their UUIDs match. I see we have an existing feature request on this so I'm going to add your voice to the request and we'll see what we can do.
I was never a big Google user and your comments are kind of making me glad I didn't at the moment. 20-30 minutes to merge one set? ouch!
