I am having an issue with the software not locking at all, I have the preferences set to one minute but the main window stays open

    Hi @kclarke2000,

    If you have the main 1Password app open when it locks, the window won't close - it should just become locked and ask for your master password. Is the problem that it's not locking when it's supposed to?

    You said you "have the preferences set to one minute", are you referring to the setting for Lock after computer is idle for __ minutes? If so, please note that setting will lock 1Password when there is no keyboard or mouse activity for the number of minutes you specify. So, the whole computer needs to be idle, not just 1Password. Does that help to explain why it doesn't lock when you expect it to?

    If you're still having trouble with that, please open the main 1Password app, go to the menu for 1Password > Preferences, and select the Security tab. What are your Auto-lock settings in that window?
