missmatch between computer and phone
Guys,
I have 2 vaults and every item is synced between iphone and macbook. However, I can see come missmacthes ( missing entrries) on my laptop. It looks like my phone vault has more entries than vault on macbook. How can I sync all entries from iphone to macbook? I need to be sure that entries from the phone are moving to my laptop

Please give us more information in order that we can help. Please tell us:
- what version of 1P you are using on your Mac (go to 1P > About 1Password and tell us exactly what it says there);
- what version of 1P for iOS you are using (go to the 1P Settings screen and look towards the bottom for the version number);
- your OS X and iOS version numbers;
- how you sync your 1P data between your Mac and your iOS device(s) (Dropbox, iCloud or local wifi sync).

Hi @pl33g0r,
I'm sorry to hear that syncing isn't quite working right for you. As Stephen mentioned, the first things we'll need in order to know how to proceed are the version numbers of the apps, the OS versions, and the mention you've chosen to sync the data. Once you get us this info we'll be able to provide more information about how to troubleshoot this.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi guys,
Sorry for the delay.
1P for OS X 5.3.1 (build #531001)
OS X 10.10
1P for iOS 5.4.1
iOS 8.3I am trying to sync over WiFi.
Also, I have couple of questions related to iCloud...
1. When 1p file is stored in the iCloud is it encrypted (some folks mentioned that it is not? if it is encrypted, what type of encryption do you use?
2. Is https protocol used while 1P file on the phone syncs with iCould?
3. Can I have an additional password on the 1P file stored in iCloud?Thanks!

Hi @pl33g0r,
No problem for the delay, thanks for the information!
The first thing I'd like you to do is make sure Wi-Fi sync is set up correctly by checking out these steps for Mac, and these steps for iOS. If for some reason the sync settings were disabled on one or the other, that would definitely explain the problem.
If Wi-Fi sync is set up correctly on both, please try this:
- On the iPhone, add a new Secure Note to 1Password and name it "Test from iPhone"
- On the Mac, add a new Secure Note to 1Password and name it "Test from Mac"
Once you sync, check for those new Secure Notes on both your Mac and iPhone. Did they each sync correctly from one to the other, or are they missing anywhere?
Also, just to make sure we understand: Is the problem that entire items are not syncing from your iPhone to your Mac, or that changes you make to existing items don't sync? You also mentioned that you have 2 vaults - do you mean you have a Primary and secondary vault in 1Password on your Mac, and those 2 vaults are also on your iPhone? Or did you just mean you have one vault which is syncing between your Mac and iPhone?
To answer your other questions:
When 1p file is stored in the iCloud is it encrypted (some folks mentioned that it is not? if it is encrypted, what type of encryption do you use?
Yes, 1Password data in iCloud is definitely encrypted! We are very confident about storing 1Password data in the cloud, as your data file is encrypted with an exceedingly secure encryption algorithm called AES. We have more information about the security of your 1Password data in the cloud in this knowledgebase article.
Is https protocol used while 1P file on the phone syncs with iCould?
If I understand your question, you want to know if iCloud sync uses a secured connection. First, I'd like to reiterate that your 1Password data is encrypted before it’s sent to iCloud. 1Password protects your data with end-to-end encryption, and we have more information about that here: What is end-to-end encryption? How does that protect my data?
As for the connection your device makes with iCloud, the following article on Apple's support site should be helpful: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202303
Can I have an additional password on the 1P file stored in iCloud?
I'm not sure if I understand exactly what you mean. Your 1Password data in iCloud would require your master password to unlock it, the same as your 1Password data stored locally on your Mac or iPhone. Also, your iCloud account is protected by your Apple ID password. In addition to that, you can choose to enable two-step verification for your Apple ID as an added layer of protection. Does that help to answer your question?
