Suggestion: Scans and Contacts

Please add a "Scans" section in 1Password for storing scans of documents such as certificates and registration papers.

Also I would like a "Contacts" section for storing contact information. It would be great if you could import this data from OSX's Contact app and Outlook "Contacts" for Windows. That way you can access contact information from any device.

Hi @headkaze,

Thanks for your suggestions! In case you weren't aware, it's already possible to attach files to items in 1Password. We have steps to go that in this guide. If you want to organize your items to keep your scanned files together, you can use Folders or Tags.

As for storing contact information, you can use the Identities category for that if you want, although Identity items in 1Password are actually meant to store your personal information so 1Password can fill that into webforms (for example, to enter your address when making a purchase from an online store). 1Password wasn't designed to be used as a contact manager, so it doesn't access your Contacts or have a feature to import them. But I can certainly forward your suggestion to our developers!
