  • I’m using 1Password version #: 5
  • On a (Mac/PC/iOS/Android): Mac
  • Syncing with other devices (list them): Android

After input my Master Password on Android App it shows the message: "encryptionKeys.js doesn't exist on vault"
I follow the steps on troubleshooting tips on this link "Problem loading 1Password data file - A key data file could not be loaded and 1Password Anywhere cannot continue without it. - Please see this help guide for troubleshooting tips"
And I wasn't able to find encryptionKeys.js file on data > default folder.

Hey @andgrams. I'm sorry to hear you are unable to configure sync on your Android device. :(

The easiest way to resolve this error is to change your master password on your Mac. This will recreate the missing encryptionKeys.js file that is preventing sync from continuing.

To change your master password on your Mac, launch 1Password and go to 1Password 5 > Preferences from the menu bar and click the Security tab > Change master password. Once you have completed the change, wait a short moment for sync to complete. Launch 1Password on Android and try sync again. This time sync should work!
