hi, when I open websites, that require user Id and password, the logins don't appear in the desired list. Though these are present in the original list. Due to this the auto-password / userid fill-up function becomes useless. Have to copy paste userid and password every time. Please help. It's highly annoying.

So that we can help you Please tell us:

By all means attach a screen shot to your post if that helps (so long as it doesn't contain any confidential information, of course).

hi, when I open websites, that require user Id and password, the logins don't appear in the desired list.

@kanvis1981 : 1Password will only ever show Logins that match the current URL. This is to protect you against phishing attacks. If you would like a specific Login to be available at multiple URLs, you can create additional Login items (or add multiple URLs to an existing Login, if you have Pro Features).

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any questions! :)

Hi, I am having the pro version. After getting into the specific URL only, I am putting in User ID and password and saving it. Even after 2 minutes, same specific URL when opens, the log in doesn't appear. Does it mean we have to type user ID and password everytime ?? Plz look into it.

@kanvis1981 : Indeed. 1Password will never autofill information without you telling it to do so, simply because you have navigated to a webpage.

As mentioned earlier, it's impossible to get into specifics without knowing some basic information, so please tell us the OS and 1Password versions you're using, and the exact steps you're taking, and what is (or is not) happening the way you expect so we can figure out the best plan of action. The more information you can give, the better. Thanks in advance! :)

@kanvis1981 Sometimes 1password only remembers my password and not my username.

This was confusing me for a while too. For me, this tends to be the case when a password is saved as a "password" and not as a "login".

I find the website in 1password (mac/PC not iOS) and click "Convert to login"

After I click that, it now has a username field and works the way I expected it to.

    Hope this helps you
