Tresorit sync support
I'd just like to request that 1Password for iOS add support for the Tresorit file sync service.
Just to be clear, I'm sure that 1Password does an excellent job of encrypting the data - it's just that I'd rather not be supporting iCloud and Dropbox in this regard.
Thanks in advance!

Hi @matheweis
Thanks for the feedback! We don't have plans at the moment to add additional sync services but you may want to look into our WiFi sync option. :)

I, too, would like to request that 1Password support syncing through Tresorit, as it now does for Dropbox.
Not concerned about encryption - I know 1Password is end-to-end. It's a matter of convenience. I'm transferring all my personal data to Tresorit - much more secure. Don't want to have everything personal syncing into one cloud, and my 1Password, on its own, syncing into another. Would prefer to use one service for everything.
Thank you.

Hi, As all votes count I want to add my voice to a Tresorit back up. Dropbox is great - but wide open. You have a fantastic product and it would be vastly enhanced by working with Tresorit. Your business model and theirs are a much better match than yours with DB. Both firms are on the crest of a wave of people waking up to how wide open they are on the net and the natural response - seeking to protect their privacy. Tresorit is a perfect fit for 1p - at least to this consumer. Maybe there are technical or proprietary obstacles to a link? Do you have an exclusive with DB? I think its reasonable to disclose the reasons why you are not currently planning to work with T.
On a related note, from a corporate perspective, if I were your CEO I'd be looking for creating/merging with the following business solutions to provide consumers with a one stop shop for privacy... you could become the 'Apple' of privacy systems...
Merge encrypted:
password database
cloud back ups
VPN
email/credit card/phone maskingif you could put all of these into 1 trusted off the shelf solution and could successfully market it... you'd have a killer business model.
One final thing while Im handing out free advice...
The Federal Govt has huge security issues. See the linked OPM Hack story below, although it is unclear if it was related to individual employee password security - I doubt it. Still as evidence of the many problems the govt has, the OPM hack is interesting.
1password has an incredible business opportunity. Password security is a major vulnerability. In the largest Department, Defense, most users have up to 3 or more systems for which they are required to 'remember' complex passwords - unclass, secret and top secret systems. DoD has finally moved to 2 factor authentication via CAC cards - but it still needs much more robust password security at the individual user level. Imagine 1pass getting that license! Millions of users on a minimum of 3 different systems. KA-ching!

Hi @Love1p ,
To answer your questions, we do not have an exclusive arrangement with Dropbox. We would love to support sync in any way our customers wish, however, it takes considerable effort and support to maintain each sync service. With Tresorit, we haven't explicitly ruled it out, but currently, the lack of an iOS SDK is one hurdle that would prevent us from implementing it.
We decide which sync services to use based on demand, platform availability, technical details (e.g. suitable SDK) and other factors.
But rest assured, your vote has been counted. Thanks for the advice and feedback!
Cheers,
