I would like know if you are planning to update the app/ pc features to:
- acquire images of fidelity card within the wallet so i can show to the shop cash this virtual card avoinding to bring in my bag severl fldelity hard card.
At the same time you can plan to update wallet to include corporate badges that incude barcode or qr-code access.
I can see that file attached on the pc version are not sync with app version. Is correct?

@stefano71: I don't know specifically what this fidelity card is, but we don't currently have plans to turn 1Password into a payment system. I think Apple and Google are doing a fine job of that on mobile devices already. :money:

Now this is a cool idea! I can't say that I've heard this request before, but it's certainly something we can consider adding in the future. I will say, however, that you can get a similar effect now by attaching an image of the QR code to an item.

Attachments can sync across platforms. Are they not in your case? Some details may be helpful: Is it only particular items, or file types? Which OS, 1Password, and sync versions are you using? Thanks in advance! :)

Hi Brenty, thx for your prompt response.
What i mean for fidely card is loyalty cards, in few words the cards are issued by some maket chaine or several other stores to engage customer to back their shops. Here, i mean possibility to have an image of the card saved in the wallet to show at store cash (barcode or qr-code).
Good idea for badge sure :-).
About issue related to the attachments sync, I'm working with a 1 Password Trial (ver. 4.6.0.592) installed on my Win 7 laptop and an APP 1Password (last availabe versione) installed on my iPhone 6. Sync work fine but, any attachments is copied from pc to iphone.
Thank you
Best Regards

@stefano71: Ah, thanks of clarifying! "Loyalty cards" is the term I was familiar with, so I guess they are one in the same. To be clear, attachment viewing in 1Password for iOS is on of the Pro Features, so if you haven't unlocked that that would explain why you're not seeing them there. Does that help?

Hi Bernty,
I just purchased the APP PRO version and also the PC licence for 4 win pc.....but unfortunatlly I can't see the attachments on the APP :-(
Please, can help me?
Thank you

@stefano71: Absolutely! I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with attachments. Can you tell me a bit more about your setup? It sounds like the PC is running Windows 7 and 1Password 4.6.0.592. What iOS and 1Password versions do you have on your iPhone 6?
Then let's take a look at the attachment situation. Can you tell me your vault type, the item type, the attachment type, and the sync method you're using?
Be sure that 1Password for iOS shows that you have Pro Features (Settings > Pro Features > Purchased). We will get to the bottom of this! :)

Hi Brenty, here below you can find all version systems in place and other required info ;-)
- PC OS Version--> Win 7 Enterprise, 6.1.7601 Service Pack Build 7601
- 1 Password for Windows licensed --> Version 4.6.0.592
- iPhone 6 ios version --> 9.1
- 1 Password Pro version --> 6.0.2 (602002)
Sync method trough my home wi-fi network pairing pc with iPhone (sync work fine for each other field/info)
Attachments type I'm trying to sync are both pdf and jpeg files.
I'm working with with two type of vault both "login access" and "Wallet/Rewards program". This last type is third in list of available type in Wallet.
I confirm that the 1Password Pro features are correctly showed under settings and puchased.
thank you

@stefano71: Since you're using Wi-Fi Sync, I'm guessing that you're using an
.agilekeychain
vault. Is that correct? If so, attachments won't be able to sync over via Wi-Fi, as Wi-Fi Sync uses the newer OPVault format. I'm sorry for any confusion that's caused. We're in the process of transitioning all platforms to use OPVault but this isn't complete yet. You can, however, migrate your data to the OPVault format if you'd like to sync attachments via Wi-Fi:Switch to OPVault
Otherwise, you can continue using AgileKeychain without syncing attachments via Wi-Fi, or use Dropbox Sync instead, as Dropbox will be able to sync attachments regardless of format. I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any questions! :)

Hi Brenty, good progress on.
I followed your instructions and created a new OPVault repository.
I reset the data on the APP and sync trough Wi-fi again.
Now I can see the attachements icons. :-)
But...when I try to open these by douple click in the icons...app open a new window to load the file...but anythings happens. :-(Thank you

@stefano71: Great! In 1Password for Windows, double-clicking the attachment opens the save dialog (so you can export it). If you just want to view it, right-click instead. :)

Hi Brenty,
in 1Password for windos I have no issues. The issue is from the 1 Password APP running on the iPhone!
So, I can manage all the attachments in 1Passwords for windows. The issue occur when I run the synchtonization betwen 1Password for Windows and the iPhone APP. So, all data are correctly transfered to the APP, but attachments no :-(
in terms of as wrote above I see the attachment icons but once I clicked on, anythings happens.
Thank you
If you like I can send you some screenshots0 -
If you like I can send you some screenshots
@stefano71: Please do! I'm afraid I'm not sure what you mean about the icons. It really sounds like you're referring to a computer. To include them in your reply, simply click the document button in the top of the comment field, and select the file you wish to share:
Thanks in advance! :)

Hello @stefano71,
So the interesting part for me is the generic icon for that attachment. 1Password seems to be indicating that it can't tell what type this file is as if I view a GIF, PNG or PDF file the icon shows it to be this type.
Can I ask, does the file end with the relevant filename extension for that type of file when you view it in 1Password for Windows?
The other thing I wonder is if you create a brand new item and attach the same files to it, does the behave any differently at all or does it behave exactly like the original item?

Hi All,
partial good news :-)Yesterday I was able to sync all attachments between 1Password for Windows to 1 Password Pro on the iPhone via Wi-Fi. :-)
Probably I didn't wait for sync was completed, the "sync in progress" status showed on the Window border in 1Password for Windows wasn't get by me! ...(here same layout imporvment could be necessary, to be more intuitive).The icon issue is stil present. All the file I sync are JPG type.!

@stefano71: So you are able to open attachments in 1Password for iOS now? That's certainly promising.
When you right-click and select Properties for the image in Windows File Explorer, are you seeing a different icon for the file? The thumbnail which syncs is based on the file type association in the OS where it's created. For example, my attachments I've added on my Mac use different icons than those added on my PC for the same file types, because it depends on the default program setting:
You will not get a 'preview' thumbnail image, if that's what you were expecting, only a document type icon. Please let me know what you find! :)
