No sync options after initial setup iOS 9.1 - 1Pass 6.1

Since the latest version of iOS and one password. One password no longer has any option to change the sync system.

When I open settings: sync: all that shows is the number of items to sync. There is no option for sync service, sync now or last sync information.

In fact after updating to 1P 6.1 my sync was switched from Dropbox to iCloud, an option I never use, so my changes on other devices were not being synced i solved that problem by deleting 1Password, reinstalling, and was then able to choose a sync method. However after the first sync there are no options under the sync setting in settings. The device with the problem is an iPhone 4s

1Password Version: 6.1
Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: iOS 9.1
Sync Type: Dropbox

  • Hi @JeromeM

Thanks for taking the time to write in. The settings you are looking for are now under 1Password > Settings > Vaults > [Vault in question]

I hope that helps. Should you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to ask.

    Ben

    Thank you Ben,

I can understand the reasons for changing the location, however a little text under Settings > Sync would have saved a support request and great concern.

Luckily I have several iOS devices so had no worries deleting from one.

The Sync problem is however still not solved support ID is [#NCK-17371-335]

I can create logins on 1Password iOS 5.5 and from OSX 10.6.8 and from 1Password 5.4.1 which all sync to dropbox and with each other and to 1Password iOS 6.1, however 2 items created in 1Password iOS 6.1 do not sync back to the other versions

or in other words everything > 1Password iOS 6.1 is OK
but 1Password iOS 6.1 > others is a no go

Note that the documentation contains no reference to this new sync settings location. They still state explicitly that you must Tap Settings > Sync > Start Syncing > Sync with Dropbox. I spent a frustrating 20 minutes on this problem until I discovered this post. If you want to avoid confusing others, I imagine you'll want to fix the documentation.

    Hi @waldo,

My apologies for your frustration. And also thank you so much for pointing that out that we need to update our documentation. I have reported this issue to our documentation team and we will update it as soon as possible.
