Unable to sign up for newsletter due to error re: App Transport Security [investigating]

I've been trying to find a contact number to ask a simple question and have wasted 20 minutes so far. When I try to "sign up today" from my iPhone app I get the following error message: "failed to load page" the resource could not be loaded because the App Transport Security policy requires the use of a secure connection." I do have a secure connection. Please send me a phone number so I can talk to a real human being. Thank you.

    @BarbaraCipolla as your post relates to 1P for iOS I have moved the post from the 1Password for Mac forum to the 1P for iOS forum where you will get more help.

    Version 5.4 (540046). By the way when I open iPassword on my Mac I don't see "settings". I see preferences. I wish I could speak to a human. This is taking so long.

    The information you gave is for your Mac... but you said the problem occured on your iPhone? Stephen was asking for the information regarding your iPhone. You also didn't answer the last question he asked at all, which was: exactly what are you trying to sign up for when you get the error?

    In any event, to expedite this process, I'd like to ask you to create a Diagnostics Report from your iOS device:

    Attach the Diagnostics Report to an email message addressed to support+forum@agilebits.com.

    Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.

    I don't know what you mean by including a link to this thread. All this would be necessary if I could speak to a real human for a few minutes. But since you refuse to give me a number I will spend more time explaining my problem. I will also send the diagnostic report as requested. The problem is, this morning I wanted to learn more about the app on my iPhone and I clicked on "message center". it said "sign up for our Newsletter!". I clicked on the link to sign up and up came a message saying "failed to Load Page". The resource could note be loaded because the App Transport Security policy requires the use of a secure connection." I do have a secure connection. So I don't know what that error message means. All I wanted was the Newsletter! So now I'm sending diagnostic reports. I will send the diagnostic report with my name, Barbara Cipolla. I don't know what other thread you want to see. I went on my mac book pro because I couldn't find a way to get in touch with you from my iPhone. I'm trying to learn about iPasswords on my MacBook and on the app on my iPhone.
