Sharing passwords/vault

If I buy 1password pro and my wife downloaded it from my iTunes account to hers. How would I setup syncing so I can share a vault? I am new to the app so I am trying to see how this app will suit the family as well as my needs.

Thanks for taking the time to write in. Are you looking to only have one vault that you share between the two of you, or do you each want your own personal vault that is not shared and then a shared family vault?

I would like a work vault and then have a separate shared vault for personal passwords.
Also how does that sync work. Does the vault just sync or does the app look at individual password updates and sync those? I don't want to add a new password entry and because my wife updated her phone last. The share vault on my phone is synced to her and I lost the entry I did.

To accomplish that sort of setup you will need either 1Password for Mac or 1Password for Windows. These are separate purchases from 1Password for iOS, but if you don't have any desire to use either of those products long-term you can do the initial setup with the demo version.

Dropbox will likely be your best bet for this kind of setup. As to your question about syncing: 1Password does consider individual record changes when syncing.
