Installed 1Password for Mac, created vault, synced to Dropbox, installed 1Password for iOS 9, tried syncing via Dropbox and get above error.

The vault files are in Dropbox and I tried making them available offline, no luck.

What's wrong?

(All brand new setup, defaults used. Maybe your default dropbox folders changed?)

    Hi @bejeb

When you select "Sync with Dropbox", from the Sync menu, do you see your Dropbox profile listed for selection? The next line below it would be "Connect to Another Account". If it is and you are able to select it, 1Password should change to a new screen with a box in the center that reads "Searching for 1Password data in Dropbox..". If that is happening but you aren't getting a vault to choose on a new screen then at least we know you're logged into your Dropbox account and may benefit from some of the troubleshooting tips listed in this Knowledgebase article.

Thanks! Well I was logged into dropbox. I still clicked "Connect to other account" and it suddenly worked without prompting for a different login. The initial account was already the correct one, but no vault found...strange.

  • Thanks for the update @bejeb. Sorry for the inconvenience. Just to clarify: this is now working as expected?

Hi, yes it does. Could have been a delay in dropbox, not sure.

  • Okay, thanks! Glad to hear it works now. :)
