All items and changes sync perfectly from windows to iOS via dropbox, but on all iOS devices, some items are not shown in any folder or in folders that are already removed on windows.

I checked everything you mention in your article "Dropbox sync is not working".

I disconnected the iOS app and removed all data, then reconnected. Same result.

I removed iOS app, reinstalled, reconnected. Same result.

I removed complete data on windows, restored from backup with the feature in die windows application. Same result.

I used repair data on windows. Same result.

I created new folders in the windows application, moved the items to the new folders with new names, removed the old folders. Sync on iOS. I see the new folders on iOS. But some items are in them, some not. As before.

In the contents.js file in dropbox, both on windows and iOS, I see the folders and their IDs and I see that the items have the correct folder IDs attached.

Windows 1pw 1.0.9.342, iOS app version 6.1.2, pro features.

1Password Version: 6.1.2 (iOS)
Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: iOS 9.2
Sync Type: Dropbox

@Helmut_Melcher: Sorry for the confusion! If you're really using 1Password for Windows version 1 to sync with 1Password for iOS version 6, that will explain the issues you're having. The old version of 1Password on your PC cannot use the newer data supported in 1Password 4 and later, so it's best not to make changes there and simply use it as a 'reader'. Alternatively, you could upgrade to 1Password for Windows version 4, which supports the newer features. You can use your existing license key to get a discount from the AgileBits Store. I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any questions! :)

Today, I have bought and installed 1Password 4 for Windows. Using the new version, I then created all forders again and moved the items to the new folders and removed the ord folders.

Now, the sync to iOS works perfectly.

@Helmut_Melcher: Good to hear! I'm sorry for the trouble there, as there's a lot that has changed in the newer versions to support things like custom sections and fields in items. Thanks for the update, and be sure to let me know if you have any questions about the new version for 1Password for Windows! :)
