Limit on free iOS app

I've been using 1Password on my Mac for a while, I had free iOS version on my phone, as only need to look up once in a while, I didn't think Pro version features offered are needed. I have about 150 items on my Mac app, but when i look at the vault in iOS device, I'm only seeing 99 items when synced. Is this also a limitation on free version? I couldn't find any information about this anywhere.

I've tried deleting and reinstalling on my device, still same result. Looks like oldest 99 items are synced, and most recent items are not listed in app.

1Password Version: 6.1.2
Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: iOS 9.2

@hcantuncay my guess is that the items you're not seeing in 1P for iOS are those in the categories which are not shown unless and until you make the in-app purchase to enable the pro features. This part of the relevant knowledge base article should help you know:

What are the Pro Features and how do I unlock them?

@Stephen_C I don't think so. On iOS device, I see Logins, Secure Notes and Pro Categories within categories. To test what you suggested, I added a new secure note on Mac and it did not show up on iOS. Total number of items still 99 in iOS device.

  • Hi @hcantuncay

It sounds like the Mac may have stopped syncing somewhere along the line. I'd like to ask you to create some Diagnostics Reports, one from each of your devices.

    —Mac—
    https://support.1password.com/diagnostics/mac.html

    —iOS—
    https://support.1password.com/diagnostics/ios.html

Attach the Diagnostics Report to an email message addressed to support+forum@agilebits.com.

Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.

You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number. Please post that number here so we can track down the report and ensure that it is dealt with quickly. :)

Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks very much!

@bwoodruff I fixed this problem, but some info for you guys so you can fix this possible bug. I looked into this further after the hint of Mac stopping syncing. I realized 1Password app on Mac didn't have access to iCloud Drive. I believe it happened during a recent OS X upgrade where I had to logout off iCloud and login back in. I fixed that in System Preferences and syncing starting working again as it should.

What I think needs to be fixed is the sync status within the 1Password app, it always displayed as successful even though in my case it stopped working at some point and it was failing for a while. That was misleading me, I didn't even think about sync failing on my Mac.

  • Thanks for the update, @hcantuncay. Glad to hear you were able to find a resolution!
