1Password Still Syncing After Signing Out of iCloud - Security Concern
I am running OS X 10.10.5 and 1Password 5.4. I sync my 1Password data with iCloud. I signed out of iCloud in System Preferences (this also signs me out of iCloud Drive). In the past, I would get a sync error from 1Password when I signed out of iCloud. I was surprised to see that my 1Password data was still syncing with iCloud even though I had signed out. Why can 1Password still access my iCloud data when I am signed out of iCloud? This seems like a security issue.
1Password Version: 5.4

@temp242: Sorry for the confusion! As you can imagine, 1Password has no way of knowing if you disable iCloud at the system level; it's up to OS X to manage this. I suspect that restarting your Mac will clear that up, and result in any apps complaining that OS X is telling them iCloud needs to be enabled.
But one question remains: can you clarify what 'security concern' you're referring to here? To be clear, your 1Password data is end-to-end encrypted, so 1Password simply doesn't depend on the sync service to protect your data. But most importantly, even if OS X isn't refusing the sync data from 1Password, it's encrypted in the first place, and iCloud can't actually send it anywhere since it doesn't have an associated Apple ID to send it to — though you'd have to contact Apple for more details on how things work there behind the scenes.

Thanks for your response. I was concerned that someone could still access my 1Password data after I signed out of iCloud but you're right, as soon as I signed out of iCloud, none of the changes I made to 1Password synced.
