Oddity upon moving fields around
I'm noticing a very disturbing bug. It doesn't happen every time, but enough to where it is fairly consistent. Sometimes when I move fields around (shuffle them up or down) they lose their information, which gets replaced with info from one of the other fields. Therefore, I'm left with two fields with identical data and I completely lose the original data that was in the field that was moved. By lose it, I mean it gets replaced with the redundancy of one of the other fields.

I've also noticed that if a date field is moved, it automatically resets.

@danemacmillan, @Macorin: Thanks for reaching out! This sounds like an issue I originally investigated months ago, which was resolved in 6.0. Can you tell me the exact version number you each have (listed at the bottom of 1Password Settings), and when the issue might have started? I'm concerned that there may be a regression there. Thanks in advance!

Hi Brenty,
I'm using 6.2.1. I just started noticing this issue within the last couple of days, so it could be as a result of the latest update. However, I also just started to edit my database more actively, so I've been noticing a lot more stuff lately. Before last week, my actions were more dormant. I hope this is helpful.

I only started using 1Password a few weeks ago. The OSX client version is 6.0.1 (601003). I distinctly remember having one version update in this period of time, and I know this issue existed before the update as well, because there was that other issue where creating a new item and saving it would never actually save any content first time around--the item had to be edited after being created, then populated with data.

i just created a new bank account. When I saved it, there were two accounts with the same name. I then deleted one of them and found myself stuck in the other. By stuck I mean I couldn't back out of it or navigate to anywhere else in the app. There were no buttons to do so. I had to exit and force quit the app to start using it again.
I don't know what it is about editing in this app, but it is so jumpy and feels so unstable. It's almost like we aren't editing in a local database. It's like we are editing directly from the cloud.
As for the continuous editing experience, it would be nice if the field the cursor jumps to was actually visible on the screen. Sometimes the cursor jumps, but the screen doesn't scroll to the right place. You have to start scrolling all over to find it. It's all just very odd and isn't a pleasant experience.

@danemacmillan: I'm afraid I'm a bit confused. This is the iOS category of the forums. Are you having this issue with 1Password for Mac instead? If so, we may need to split you off into a separate discussion. Please let me know so we're on the same page!

@Macorin: That does sound odd. Would you perhaps be able to record a video of this? I'm having trouble conceptualizing what you're describing, and I suspect that seeing it may make it clearer. Just as long as you can keep any sensitive information out of it, posting a link to it here should be fine. But we can also make other arrangements if necessary. I'd like to understand what's going on here better. And to be clear, 1Password for iOS (and Mac) always has a local database, even if it also sends the data to the cloud, so I suspect it may be a UI or local issue.
With that in mind, if you're syncing, what type of vault are you using: AgileKeychain or OPVault? It may also help to know which other devices you're syncing with. Alternatively, are you using 1Password for Teams? Or I suppose you could be using all of the above, if you're a little crazy like me. ;)
