    Greetings @Bill_W7,

We've seen some quirky behaviour with Safari where users downloading the extension from our 1Password Browser Extensions page and clicking the Trust button watch as nothing happens, just as in your case. We don't know why but Safari is silently failing in the background and we haven't found anything in the logs that might identify the cause.

For anybody else reading this thread, if you find this to be the case please try downloading the 1Password Safari Extension from Apple's Safari Extension Gallery. When downloaded from that link Safari 9 won't ask if you trust as it is a curated gallery much like the App Store for Mac and iOS. We do submit new stable versions to Apple's Safari Extension Gallery so it should always be up-to-date.

@Bill_W7, glad you could report good news in the end

To follow on to what @littlebobbytables said, we've also heard reports that if you switch your tab behavior in System Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts to allow tabbing to "All controls" instead of just "Text boxes and lists only" that you can tab to the Trust button and press the space bar to activate it successfully.
