Underscore sorting difference between iOS and OSX

I just went through all of my logins in the OSX app and added an underscore in front of all logins that are old and no longer valid. I did this to shorten the list of valid logins without permanently deleting logins. However, now that I go into the iOS app, it shows all of the underscore logins at the very top, before the "A" section. Can you modify the iOS app to show the underscores and symbols at the end, and add the "Sorting [] Show numbers and symbols first" option into the app for the people that would prefer the current setup? This would create uniform function between apps.

  • Hi @whitmore0112,

Thanks for taking the time to write in with this feedback. Cross platform consistency is one of our major long term goals. I don't have any further information about this specific difference, at this time. I can say we'd like to iron out as many differences as possible, without removing the feel of native apps for each platform.

    Thanks!

    Ben

Here is how I handled the situation. (I use iCloud sync and latest versions of apps). I created a vault called 'archive' on my Mac and moved my old data to it. I can still access them on the Mac, but they do it appear on my iPad and iPhone since vaults don't sync.

    Hope this gives you ideas.

Oops. I meant to say that they do NOT appear on my iPad and iPhone.

  • Thanks for chiming in with that, @rlgleason51. That is how I also manage old / invalid items, so that may be a reasonable approach for the short term.

    :)
