Google Chrome extension failed to fill the form if the Flashcontrol extension active

I'm using google chrome 48.0.2564.109 and since few weeks ago, filing the form using 1password extension failed. Today I just found out that the cause is because I have Flashcontrol extension and by default it's blocking all websites, unless I allow particular page or site. After I allow the login form page, 1password can fill in the form. This might be useful for those who can't get the 1password extension working in google chrome.

1Password Version: 4.6.0.598

    Greetings @dk135,

Thank you for letting us know  Certain extensions can interfere with 1Password being able to fill and I haven't heard of that one before so always good to learn

Do you have a link to the extension so we could take a peek please. I only ask on the off-chance that there are similarly named extensions. For example, when somebody mentions AdBlock I find there a multitude of versions and I'm never sure if I'm testing the exact same one or not.

    Hi @littlebobbytables,

Here is the link to the extension: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/mfidmkgnfgnkihnjeklbekckimkipmoe

Strangely, this extension only affected Google Chrome in Windows 7. I also use this extension in OSX and it doesn't interfere the 1Password ability to fill the form.

@dk135 That is strange that there should be a conflict with this extension, but if it's blocking any network traffic, then it could be inadvertently blocking our connection to 1Password helper. But I'm not sure why you need this plugin at all. If you go to chrome://settings/content, you can set the Plugins section to "Let me choose when to run plugin content". Does Flashcontrol do something beyond this functionality?
