How to open an iPhone app that is password protected and NOT in a browser

I cannot figure out how to use 1Password on the iPhone when trying to open an app that does not use a browser. What is the sequence? My 1Password is synced using Dropbox across Windows, iMac, iPad, iPhone. Your excellent support materials keep taking me back to 1Password on iOS but I cannot see this particular item.

I have added the extension to Safari and Chrome and they work fine.

Thank you very much. Cheers!...John

1Password Version: 6.0.2

@JohnFauquier: Sorry of the confusion! On iOS it is only posable for 1Password to fill login credentials under the following circumstances:

    • You're using 1Browser within the app itself
    • You're using the 1Password extension in Safari
    • You're using a 3rd party app which has added 1Password support

While we offer a 1Password extension for iOS, it isn't something we can build into other apps ourselves. Their developers will need to add support for it. Otherwise it is necessary to copy and paste.

However, we have a website devoted to the 1Password extension for developers, so be sure to let them know you'd like them to add support for it and point them in our direction. We're always happy to help them join the ranks of apps that support the 1Password iOS extension! :chuffed:
