Unable to WIFI sync OS X
I have been using WIFI sync with my ios devices for months without any problems. I have not been able to sync now for 10 days. I get the following message. Domain=NSPOSIXErrorDomain Code=60 operation timed out. Nothing has changed with my computer, iPad or iPhone.
Suggestions?
1Password Version: 6.1
Extension Version: 4.5.5.90
OS Version: OS X 10.11.4 (15E65)

@denner12 please try this:
- disable wifi sync on each device then re-enable it; and/or
- reboot both/all devices.
In my experience 2 almost invariably solves the problem, If it doesn't in your case take a look at this knowledge base article which suggests some other things you can try:

I did all of the things you suggested and they did not resolve the problem. I switched to sync with dropbox and was successful.

@denner12, I'm glad you were able to set up Dropbox sync! I'm not sure exactly why Wi-Fi sync wasn't working correctly, and we'll be happy to continue helping you with that if you'd like, but if you're happy with Dropbox sync instead, you should be all set. If you need anything else, we're here for you! :)

I will use Dropbox, but I would like to know what happened with the WIFI sync. Do you have other suggestions?

Is the Wi-Fi access point under your control? I've seen some access points that isolate the wireless clients from each other, preventing them from contacting each other. I believe the latest Apple access points let you enable such a mode. Just another idea to investigate.
How comfortable are you with more technical investigative tools? I have a bunch of command line tests we could run to see if the two devices can even see each other on the network, If you're comfortable with such things.

1Password for Mac Developer0 -
@denner12 I received the same error message (Domain=NSPOSIXErrorDomain Code=60 operation timed out) when attempting to sync 1Password on my MacBook Pro and iPhone over WiFi. It was resolved when I disabled the "Block all incoming connections" settings for my firewall.

That certainly makes sense to me @blakey, my understanding is that option is intended to nail the Mac down pretty tightly.
@denner12, in the troubleshooting you tried did you create an ad-hoc network to see if the issue was coming from the router at all? If that didn't help then to me it would suggest a software issue on the Mac.

I do not know how to create an ad-hoc network.

@denner12: Directions are in the guide Steven_C linked earlier in the discussion:
Creating an ad-hoc network
But again, if your network environment is causing problems for you, using Dropbox Sync is probably a much better option, given that it doesn't require any such configuration.
Let me know if you have any other questions! :)
