Two accounts on one mac, syncing 1pwd6 with dropbox, but I have different info in the two accounts.
I'm running 1password 6 on desktop mac and laptop mac with two accounts on the laptop; one for my wife and one for me. We both use the same 1password information (but, possibly not the same 1pwd files?) and I have synced things in the past. On the laptop, my account syncs with the desktop, but in my wife's account, it does not currently sync at all, although I have older versions of the 1pwd data there. I've used 1pwd for years and may have residual files from previous 1pwd versions. I'd like to make certain I am using the latest, correct files and not an outdated file. I have a very limited understanding of vaults, opvault, agilekeychain, etc.
I want to make certain that when I learn the proper way to get things sunk (sic, synced) I leave behind the old version of info my wife's laptop account uses. I have copied the divergent info she has entered, so we won't lose anything when we get her properly synced.

@Dennis_zzz: It sounds like you're on the right track. We just need to make sure we get a few things right here.
First and foremost, is there one particular Mac/user account that has the "correct" data that you want everywhere? If so, that will make things much simpler for you.
Since you're using Dropbox, this won't be too bad. Once you've determined the "correct" vault, you just need to verify that it's syncing with Dropbox in 1Password Preferences > Sync, verify the location of the vault, and then setup 1Password on each Mac/user account to use that same vault in Dropbox.
