Where have I been? When did folders disappear?

    Hi @Mr. K.,

    If you have more than one vault in 1Password for Mac and you've just recently moved up to version 6 then I suspect our All Vaults view has taken you by surprise.

    The new All Vaults view defaults to showing you the contents of each separate vault from one handy window. The reason we don't show Folders here though is the All Vaults view is also intended for showing the contents of vaults in a 1Password for Teams or 1Password Families account and these do no support folders. So to try and reduce issues we only show information that both support e.g Tags.

    If you use the Vault Switcher in the Sidebar and select an individual vault you should find Folders are still present.

    Does this match up with what you see and help explain where Folders went to?

    If you find you're not a fan of the All Vaults view then you may like to know you can set a default vault to open to in 1Password's preferences. It's in the General tab and you can set it to whatever vault you want and that might be more to your liking.

    Please do let us know if this clears things up or if it isn't the case and that you still require assistance.
