Forum problems: creating posts and marking as read

There seems to be a problem with the forum software today. When I create a new post there is no option for any formatting or to add a screen shot. Further the "cog" that you could previously click on in a forum title in the main list of forums (would be so much easier if I could add my screen shot of it!) no longer shows any options so I cannot, for example, mark all posts in a forum as read.

    Yikes! That sounds pretty awful Stephen. Have you tried a different browser? Do you have any ad blockers that might be affecting the forum?

    @Ben everything has now returned—although the options on the "cog" are slightly different, as is the "new discussion" post window. I do rather suspect there may have been some upgrade of the forum software in progress.

    Good idea to try a different browser and check the ad blocker but in the event not necessary as things are back to (the new) normal.
