is it available in the uk and if so, what is the cost?

I'm looking for a password mgr for a tablet, laptop, pc and phone. Phone and Tablet are currently android and pc's win 10.

Once purchased, can it be transferred to an apple in the future for free?

@Mikejdrake yes, 1Password is available in the UK (which is where I am) and indeed anywhere in the world.

There are two models for 1Password - license and subscription.

Licenses are one-off purchases (though in the future there may be an upgrade cost for a newer version). These are bought on a per platform basis, so you would need to buy one for Android (phone/tablet) and one for Windows 10 PC. If you moved to Apple devices in the future, you would need to purchase licenses for these (it can't be transferred). In addition for licenses, you would need to set up your own synchronisation between these (using something like Dropbox) in order for passwords to be available on all devices.

Cost for licences can be found by buying the Pro option from within the app (I believe).

Subscription is a service which allows you to have the 1Password programs and apps on all of your devices for a monthly cost. All future updates to the apps are included in the subscription and you can easily move to another platform (at no additional cost) as you can use the programs and apps on all of these. In addition the synchronisation service to make passwords available across all of your devices is included in the subscription so there's nothing to set up (apart from setting up your account and your devices). There are different subscriptions depending on what you want - individual (for just you), family (for up to 5 family members) or Teams (designed for businesses). Personally I have the Family subscription which I use with my fiancée (and hopefully daughter in the near future).

You can read more about the features and pricing here:

    I hope this helps. :)

@Mikejdrake: Wow. I'm not really sure that I have much to add to what Martok has already carefully laid out for you at this time, but please be sure to let me know if you have any additional questions! I will say though that the primary benefits of the subscription service are tat it gives you access to all of the apps, the web interface, and does away with license management and sync configuration altogether — you simply login to your account to authorize a device and access your data. Cheers! :)
