switching off notifications for a specific thread

Hi,

I keep getting notifications for threads I am no longer interested in, but have no clue how to switch it off.

Can someone please advise?

    Hi @JamesHenderson,

    Whether or not you get forum notifications depends on how you've configured Notification Preferences, like I described a bit about over here. The Vanilla forum software doesn't provide an option to disable notifications for specific discussions. An alternative is to bookmark ones you want notifications for, with at least Notify me when people comment on my bookmarked discussions enabled.

    I know from experience how inconvenient it can be remembering to use bookmarks and wish there was an explicit "disable notifications for this discussion" option. Sorry there's no way of doing that right now.
