1p4_zip Backup File

Hi,

I have a .1p4_zip file that I was previously able to restore to my iPhone using iTunes manually. However, i made the mistake of renaming the filename (not the extension) and now the file will not restore. My question is, does the filename have to be a specific format in order for the app to read the backup file or it doesn't matter as long as the extension is .1p4_zip. Can you confirm this?

Also, is there an alternative way of loading my .1p4_zip file without the use of iTunes?

    @xdarnsx: It requires iTunes File Sharing, as this is the only direct file sharing option available on iOS devices. Just follow the steps here to restore it:

    Restore a backup (iOS)

    Alternatively, you may be able to restore the backup in 1Password for Mac, and then sync the data back to your iPhone. Let me know how it goes. I look forward to hearing back from you!
