Those of us who have chosen a month to monnth subscription are charged $6.95 per month or approximately $24.00 more per year as a penalty for paying monthly

That's certainly a "glass half empty" way of looking at it! We don't charge a "penalty" for paying monthly; rather, we offer a 20% discount for paying annually. The choice is yours. :)

In addition, you do not mention the additional $.21 per month charged for a transaction fee

AgileBits does not charge transaction fees of any kind, only taxes where applicable. You'll need to consult your bank about that. Ironically, it sounds like paying annually would save you an additional 2.31$US (if you then only get charged a single 21 cent fee) over and above the 20% discount. ;)
