Hi @Myname_HJB ,

You can leave keychain turned on since it has other benefits than syncing passwords, but it's probably advisable to turn off Auto-fill in the Safari preferences (Safari Settings on iPad and iPhone). That way you won't have both Safari and 1Password trying to fill and save passwords.
