Background sync when app is not opened

It seems that despite "Background App Refresh" being enabled, the iOS app never syncs until the app is actually opened. For example, if I save a login to the app through the Extension in Safari on my iPhone, the new login would never be synced on my other devices until I open the app on my iPhone.

    Hi @sflomenb!

    Thanks for taking the time to write in. Could you please let me know how you are syncing your 1Password data? Do you have a 1Password membership, or are you using a 3rd party sync provider (which)?

    Thanks for the information @sflomenb.

    At present the 1Password extension on iOS does not sync (even with a 1Password membership) because in most cases it doesn't "live" long enough to do so. We'd love to find a solution to this, but even Background App Refresh doesn't give us what we'd need in order to accomplish that.
