Extension doesn't activate on Firefox when basic auth modal is visible on browser
I'm unable to activate the extension on Firefox when a http basic authentication modal is visible.
This 1password icon can't be clicked: https://i.imgur.com/FnuXF6x.png
Firefox developers said that it's a thing 1password extension devs can fix using the WebExtensions API:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1334609
I can reproduce the bug on macOS and Windows 10.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Open Firefox
2) Open a site which has basic authentication modal, like this test site: http://httpbin.org/basic-auth/user/passwd
3) Try to click 1password extension on the browser, next to the URL bar.
Thanks
1Password Version: 6.8.2
Extension Version: 4.6.11.91
OS Version: macOS

Greetings @jussi,
Now I could be wrong but I don't think that API will help with the actual button. When the basic auth dialog pops up every aspect of the Firefox window is no longer accessible until the auth dialog is dealt with. The API referenced seems to offer a way to listen for certain events relating to basic auth requests but to interact with 1Password you will still need to use one of the alternative routes as you would right now. The primary method would be via one of the keyboard shortcuts such as ⌥⌘\ or
alt + ctrl + \
depending on the platform or the 1Password icon in the macOS menu at the top of the screen if it's a Mac. What the API would suggest is that we're reaching a point where they may be a consistent approach that would allow basic auth filling.ref: OPX-717
