I have license key but my account is frozen

I think I bought the license key but subscribed to the subscription model. My account is frozen and I am not able to enter the license key in the app. Please suggest a way to go forward and copy my data from account to standalone tool. Also, could you assist me in installing the standalone tool?

    @harshac - You'll want to follow these instructions to create a Primary vault (the first standalone vault you create is always called Primary by default, others you can name yourself), and then get your data transferred over from the 1password.com account into your Primary vault.   • I purchased an educational license key several years ago from Agile Bits. My account is now frozen and the only option I appear to have is to pay for a monthly subscription. I'm confused and would appreciate assistance with resolving this.

  • You can continue to use your old version @wagross as long as it's supported.

    The only reason your account would be frozen is if you voluntarily transferred to the subscription service.

    It may be that you need to downgrade to the version you originally purchased "several years ago". Assuming the software you purchased is still compatible with your OS then you're good to go.

    Follow Lars' instructions to downgrade your subscription account to a standalone account.

    @wagross: Thanks for reaching out. I’m sorry for the confusion! It sounds like you may be trying to login with a 1Password Account, but you will only have one if you've signed up for a 1Password.com membership. That’s the only way you’ll have a Secret Key or Sign In URL, or be able to access your data through 1Password.com. Instead, you can use 1Password without an account and sync your data from another device or create a new vault. I hope this helps. Be sure to let me know if you have any other questions! :)
