Some thoughts regarding duplicate password order in 1Password 7

Hi, I was just trying out the new Duplicate Passwords feature in 1Password 7. I'm glad this valuable feature has made it's way across from 1Password for Mac.

I can see that the first three letters of each duplicate password is shown. However, I can't seem to work how the logins in this category are arranged?

I wonder if they could be sorted alphabetically, using the first 3 letters of each duplicated passwords?

I also see that the sort menu doesn't apply to these entries, even though it's still active for this category. Maybe, in this case, it could be made inactive for this part of the Security section?

Thanks, Paul

    Hi @pbryanw,

    Thanks for mentioning this!

They're grouped by the letters and it is hard to sort them afterward, we don't have support for inner-sorting in any of our item lists just yet. This is planned to be implemented and we do plan to add additional sorting options like reverse sorting, password age and more, which will help with Security Audit features.

@MikeT - Thanks for your help again! :+1:

This sounds great, and exactly what I was hoping for - look forward to this being implemented :chuffed:

Just piling on: I think the most useful sort ordering would be by number of duplicates! The vast majority of these are just pairs of passwords and logins. An option to hide such pairs would be nice, too.

@MemoryGap: It sounds like just having Password items not shown by default in 1Password mini might help with that. Is that correct?
