Chrome Extension Not Working After Windows 10 1809 Upgrade [update 1Password and Chrome]
Both my laptop and tower updated to Windows 10 1809. Now, the Chrome extension doesn't work. I have reinstalled 1Password twice, reintalled Chrome 71.? twice and the Chrome extension twice. I also installed the previous version of Chrome - 70.?. This didn't resolve the issue either.
The error with the Chrome extension is:
Browser Connection Refused
1Password refused connection from untrusted source, check logs for details.
1Password
I had the same issue with the 1Password Firefox extension, but was able to uninstall and reinstall the 1Password extension and it now works.
Unfortunately, as much as I use Chrome this makes 1Password almost useless.
I will submit an email with all attachments, as well.
Please help.
Thanks,
Matt
1Password Version: 7.2.581
Extension Version: 4.7.3.90
OS Version: Windows 10 1809

@parkerm77 This is a different issue, where 1Password can't verify Chrome 71's signature because the certificate expired a few hours ago. (Though the signature is valid as the build signature is timestamped)

Check your 1Password app for updates. Once it's updated, Chrome will work again.

@kegobeer Thanks for the recommendation. Installing 7.2.617 fixed it. I ended up having to download 7.2.617 from 1Password and manually update. The new version must have just been rolled out since downloading from the 1Password was the previous version until now.
Anyway, I'm glad it's resolved and hope these type of issues aren't recurring often.
