1 Password 4 mini window is dim

When i double click to fill in a password, the window that's supposed to show up to show me my options is essentially not visible. There is only a faint "1 Password" showing in light gray and nothing else is visible. i'm not having this problem on my desktop, only with my MacBook Pro laptop. i checked for any updates but believe i'm using the latest. Please help, as my wife is losing patience with this software.
