"The Operation Couldn't Be Completed..." 1password auto submit isn't running

I have just started encountering a new error message every time I use 1password4 (particularly from the extension).
It will load the username and password into the fields, but not automatically indicate that they have been entered (you must hit enter manually) and when you do the following message appears:

And includes: This operation couldn't be completed....and concludes "agile bits.onepassword-osx-helper/1Password_Autosubmit.scpt:36:52: execution error: System Events got an error. Application isn't running. (-600)

Any help fixing this?

    I'm sorry to hear that you're having problems with 1Password right now. I'd like to get you to try reinstalling the autosubmit package by following @sjk's instructions here.
