USABILITY/BUG: There's no easy way to cancel search
Which devices did this bug appear on and is it reproducible on any devices?
iPhone 5c. Not sure what search is like on iPad.
A quick summary of the bug:
There is no Cancel button when searching in the Vault or in the fill-item panel in 1Browser. In the Vault, cancelling a search is possible by scrolling the list and tapping the X icon in the search bar (both must be done, but in any order).
I'm not used to seeing a search bar in iOS without a cancel button. I noticed this a few betas back and didn't think it would be a big deal, but the friction of the current setup has been bugging me more than I expected it would.
Detailed Step-by-step instruction on how to reproduce it:
- Open 1Password, unlock vault
- Tap Categories tab
- Tap Search
- There is no Cancel button (http://cl.ly/image/0X1T363g0i0s). Normally a search bar has one (http://cl.ly/image/0q1s022c3a1X).
-- OR --
- Open 1Password, unlock vault
- Tap 1Browser button
- Tap item filler button
- Tap Search
- There is no Cancel button. There is no way to dismiss the keyboard. Even the Search button on the keyboard (http://cl.ly/image/440S1J060K31) does nothing. You're completely stuck in search. *villainous laugh*
