Safari ext. not saving new passwords

Just installed the Safari 4 extension, but it's not prompting me to save new passwords when I change web site logins. Any guidance?

    To start with, please ensure Automatically ask to save new Logins is checked under Preferences > Browser:

    Please let me know it that helps, or if we need to investigate further! :)

    I should have specified that I have a Mac. I don't see anything like this under my preferences, for the Mac or for Safari. Any ideas?

    1. Are you looking in the 1P4 preferences?
    2. Are you using 1Password 4 or 1Password 3?
