extension on Safari

New to 1 Password. Tried to sign into a site. Clicked on key in toolbar. I put in password and a countdown started and never opened. I opened the full application, put in same password and it opened immediately. Am I doing something wrong? thanks all

    First of all, thanks for choosing 1Password to keep your digital life secure and organized! Now, it sounds to me like you might have an old version of the extension installed here. Let's try reinstalling the 1Password 4 browser extension for Safari.

    Please follow these steps:

    • Open Safari.
    • Click Safari > Preferences in the menu bar.
    • Click the Extensions tab.
    • Click "Uninstall" for the 1Password extension.
    • Restart your Mac.
    • Launch Safari and visit the following page: https://agilebits.com/browsers/index.html
    • Click the big green button, and follow the instructions on the new page to install the extension.
