"Add login" workflow results in password being lost

[in the middle of an app signup flow, switch to 1Password to generate a password]

  • tap the "plus" (add) icon, tap "login", enter a name for the new entry
  • tap the key, generate a password, copy it to clipboard
  • switch back to the signup flow, paste the password, finish signup
  • switch back to 1Password, enter unlock pin, still on the "new login" form but password and name have disappeared

[now I need to go through the reset password flow to choose another password]

Maybe this workflow is strange - in hindsight I could have saved the entry first, but in this case the login flow insisted on choosing a password before prompting for a username. In any case, clearing the form seems unintuitive?

    This is currently a limitation of the new login workflow on Android. I agree that this can be counterintuitive and I'm sorry that you had to go through the process of resetting your password because of this. I've passed on your feedback to our development team. Thank you!
