Passwords for Excel Files

I like the idea of being able to click on an icon within 1Password to open a password protected website and would like to know if it is possible to do the same for Excel files saved on either my local disk or in Dropbox. Better than just storing the passwords in 1Password and then having to look them up when I want to access the spreadsheet

    Hi @‌Heffor1,

    Unfortunately, at this time, 1Password is not able to fill details in non-browser apps. It is something that our developers would love to be able to do, unfortunately it is not as easy as filling in a browser where we are able to install a browser extension to help out.

    Thanks for letting us know that you are interested in something like this though! :)
