Question after Password - How do I implement it?

My bank login has typical user ID and password, but then has a security question after the password. In addition, there are 3 different security questions the bank has you establish, which are rotated, so they answer varies each time.

I have my bank login setup on 1Password, but I am unsure if or how to handle the security questions. Right now 1Password asks me each time if I want to set up a new login and I dismiss it. But I was wondering if there is way to have 1Password remember the answers to the security questions or if anyone has another way they recommend to manage this? Thanks.

    Hi @pghkatrina‌

Security questions are a bit tricky indeed - good question!

You have a few options here:

    • Save the questions and answers as custom fields within your existing bank Login. You can copy and paste this information from the 1Password Mini and even mask the answers by setting the field type to 'password'
    • Create a Login for each of the answers. Then you can use ⌘\ to open Mini and select the appropriate answer to have it filled in.

It's just a matter of which method you prefer. :)
